Coinbase Hourly Temperature Markets
Coinbase lists Kalshi's 4 hourly temperature series under the same tickers, with the same order book and settlement: the Kalshi Weather Index at the top of each Eastern hour.
Coinbase hourly series
Each series has a live index page on minuteTemp: the index every minute, its stations, the strike ladder and settlements. Each hour is its own Kalshi event, and its Coinbase page is coinbase.com/predictions/event/ followed by the event ticker.

How a Coinbase hour settles
By Kalshi's rules, so a market settles the same on Coinbase as on Kalshi: on the last official index minute at or before the top of the hour, looking back at most 60 minutes. The hour in the ticker is Eastern time, and the value is known about 5 minutes after the hour. See the Kalshi Weather Index explained.
Not Robinhood's hourly contracts
Coinbase's help, read October 17, 2026, says its prediction markets are not available to Nevada or Michigan residents and pause for maintenance on Thursdays from 3:00 to 5:00 AM ET.
Coinbase hourly temperature FAQ
- Which hourly temperature markets does Coinbase have?
- Kalshi's hourly series: Miami (KXTEMPMIAH), New York City (KXTEMPNYCHS), Chicago (KXTEMPCHIHS) and Los Angeles Coastal (KXTEMPLAXHS). Coinbase lists them under Kalshi's tickers, with Kalshi's order book.
- How does a Coinbase hourly temperature market settle?
- By Kalshi's rules: on the Kalshi Weather Index for the city, the last official index minute at or before the top of the hour, looking back at most 60 minutes. The hour in the ticker is Eastern time, and the value is known about 5 minutes after the hour.
- Is Coinbase hourly the same as Robinhood hourly?
- No. Robinhood's hourly contracts are ForecastEx's and each settles on one station. Coinbase's are Kalshi's and settle on the Kalshi Weather Index, an average of several stations, so the two can settle differently in the same hour.
- Where is each hour's Coinbase page?
- Each hour is its own Kalshi event, and its Coinbase page is coinbase.com/predictions/event/ followed by the Kalshi event ticker. The live hourly page on minuteTemp shows the current hour's event ticker with a link to Coinbase.
