All plans include all 72 cities. Eligible UI customers can start with $1.99 upfront for seven days, then pay the full selected subscription price. Starter + Pro API limits are sustained per-minute rates: about 21,600 requests/day on Starter and 144,000 on Pro. Live Kalshi hourly markets are included in every paid plan; the hourly index API and WebSocket start at Starter. Each hourly city you subscribe to uses one of your plan's market WebSocket subscriptions (Starter 6, Pro 60), shared with city and market station subscriptions. Neighbour stations have their own limit.

What happens when I exceed my API limits?
Your requests are throttled until tokens refill. Starter sustains 15 req/min (about 21,600 requests/day) and Pro sustains 100 req/min (about 144,000 requests/day). Short bursts of up to 30 (Starter) or 200 (Pro) requests are absorbed before throttling starts.
How many API requests per day do I get?
About 21,600 requests/day on Starter and 144,000 on Pro. Limits are sustained per-minute rates (15 and 100 req/min), so that is what you get running all day.
Which plans include Kalshi hourly temperature markets?
Live Kalshi hourly markets are included in every paid plan, starting with UI at $14.99/mo. Index-only cities, where Kalshi publishes the Weather Index but has no hourly market yet, are free to view. The hourly index API and WebSocket need Starter or Pro. Each hourly city you subscribe to uses one of your plan's market WebSocket subscriptions (Starter 6, Pro 60), shared with city and market station subscriptions. Neighbour stations have their own limit. Each one carries every event for that index, with seq/resume so bots never miss an update.
How many WebSocket subscriptions do I get?
The API WebSocket has two separate limits per account, shared across all your connections. Market subscriptions (cities, market stations and hourly indexes): 6 on Starter, 60 on Pro. Neighbour stations (observation-only weather-map and nowcast stations, not listed by /api/v1/stations): 30 on Starter, 300 on Pro. GET /api/v1/limits returns both for your plan.
What does the weather map include?
Free and signed-out visitors get the daily market map: the forecast temperature and wind field with the market's settlement station, its observations 3 minutes delayed. Other stations and the hourly market maps are locked. Every paid plan (UI, Starter and Pro) gets the full map: every nearby station live at 1-minute updates, the hourly market maps on the RRFS 15-minute model, and the daily maps on the NBM. The map is part of the web dashboard, not the API.
How does the $1.99 trial work?
Eligible customers can pay $1.99 upfront for seven days of UI. At trial end, the full selected subscription amount is charged and the recurring billing period begins. The trial fee is not credited toward the subscription. API plans (Starter and Pro) do not include a trial.
